About me
I am a behavioural ecologist broadly interested in sexual selection, social behaviour, and the intersection between these two seemingly disparate subfields. I use a variety of invertebrate models to investigate broad questions about animal behaviour.
My current work investigates the behavioural and fitness consequences of variation in functional weapon traits using the leaf-footed cactus bug. I have also worked extensively on the adaptive significance of female multiple mating.
I completed my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Reuven Dukas at McMaster University in 2024. I am now an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow working in Dr. Christine Miller’s Evolutionary Ecology Lab at the University of Florida.
